About
I'm Ahmet, a filmmaker and photographer in Waterloo Region. I've been shooting since 2018.
Photography started as a way to say things I couldn't put into words. What kept me going was the people I met through it.
The part of the work I love most is the last stretch of an edit, when a project comes together and becomes something I'm proud of.
How I work
One person owns your job. I plan it with you, I shoot it, I finish the edit and the colour, and I'm the one you talk to. Everything I agree with you is in writing before any money moves.
Where I work
Based in Waterloo Region. Shoots run from Kitchener-Waterloo through Cambridge and Guelph across to Toronto and Mississauga. Post-production work is remote, from anywhere.
Tools
Every job gets the kit it needs, mine or rented for the day. I edit and grade in DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro.
Also
I also run Munis Media, a video studio, for bigger productions.
Flat whites, Turkish tea, startups and hackathons.
